Our staff has grown up playing the sport of lacrosse from a young age and find that the best path to success is through fun and hard work. We strive to create a positive and supportive environment while teaching the core fundamentals of lacrosse. Below is a brief description of our staff and their personal experiences and accomplishments.
SEAN MCLAUGHLIN
FOUNDER, LEAD INSTRUCTOR
Coach Sean McLaughlin grew up in Wilbraham, Massachusetts. He attended Minnechaug Regional High School for 2 years before transferring to Wilbraham & Monson Academy (WMA). At WMA he played for their men's lacrosse team, starting for 2 consecutive seasons. McLaughlin contributed to bringing along the program's most successful seasons. After graduating he attended SUNY New Paltz, playing for the Men's Lacrosse team in their inaugural season as an NCAA program. Mclaughin was a consistent starter for 2 seasons in the competitive SUNYAC division. From there Coach Sean McLaughlin decided to begin his coaching career. He spent 1 full year hosting clinics for Hyde Park Lacrosse Club. This led to working for Reign Lacrosse travel organization. Soon after he was offered the position as New Paltz High Schools head coach of the boy’s varsity lacrosse team.
Mclaughlin is not the only member of his family who has a passion for lacrosse. His older sister Amanda McLaughlin played for the Northwestern Women’s Lacrosse team. Assisting the team in Winning a D1 National Championship. McLaughlin’s younger brother and sister both compete in lacrosse at the College and High School levels as well.

NICK MCLAUGHLIN
INSTRUCTOR
Coach Nick McLaughlin grew up in Wilbraham, Massachusetts. McLaughlin played lacrosse at Minnechaug Regional High School for 1 season before transferring to Wilbraham & Monson Academy (WMA). While there he spent 3 seasons playing for the Men’s Lacrosse team. Including one season as captain for the team. At WMA McLaughlin earned numerous highest honors awards and led the program through many successful seasons. After graduating he went on to play lacrosse for the Connecticut College Men’s Team. He was a starter for 3 consecutive seasons. The team competes in the NESCAC division, against strong lacrosse programs such as Tufts, Wesleyan, and Amherst College. Nick McLaughlin has started his 3 seasons in positions as a long stick middie, defensive middie, and offensive middie. In his upcoming senior season McLaughlin holds a captain position to lead his team.
McLaughlin grew up with 3 siblings all sharing his dedication for lacrosse. His oldest sibling, Amanda McLaughlin, reached the pinnacle of women’s lacrosse, Winning a D1 National Championship with the Northwestern Wildcats Women’s Lacrosse team. His older brother went on to play lacrosse for the SUNY New Paltz Men’s team.

AIDEN JONES
INSTRUCTOR
Coach Aiden Jones grew up in Averill Park, New York. He attended Averill Park High School, was a 3 sport athlete for his 4 years there. Jones played for their Varsity Men’s Lacrosse team, starting for the varsity team all 4 seasons. After graduating he was recruited to play for the SUNY New Paltz Men’s Lacrosse team in their inaugural season as an NCAA program. Jones was a consistent starter for 3 seasons competing in the difficult SUNYAC division. During the program's first SUNYAC playoff, Coach Jones started as the crease attackman. Jones has multiple years of experience coaching lacrosse, as well as basketball at the youth and high school levels. Jones has one younger brother who has also played lacrosse at the middle and high school level.
